#3: How might we learn from COVID-19 to reimagine our future for life, work, learning and play?

Project Description

Amazing Design People List help designers land their desired remote design jobs by hightling their profile to recruiters/hiring managers. Jobs used to be hunted by designers, we imagined now recruiters actively hunting for talented designers worldwide and designers can now work with multiple companies remotely.

Criteria #1: Value

Designers want to work with multiple companies to gain a broader experience yet are unable to due to contracting with on company as a full-time employee. As we imagine remote working to be on rise post COVID, we expect designers to want to work remotely too with the freedom of flexibility.

Criteria #2: Inspiration

Started an excel sheet, Amazing Design People List and had grown over close to thousand designers within a week. That inspired me to want to help designers land jobs and also, give the power back to them.

Criteria #3: Impact

We have been connecting them to recruiters/hiring managers since they joined and had also provided mentorship with portfolio review with mentors from renown companies worldwide who are doing this pro-bono now.

Criteria #4: Timeliness

Helping designers land new jobs during and post COVID19 by highlighting their profile to design recruiters and hiring managers. The basic version has already been launched just last week.

Criteria #5: Systems Thinking

We want to connect and support our designers with jobs (ecosystem partner), workshops and potential mentorship. It’s about connecting the design community together.
