#1: How might we keep our communities in Singapore safe and healthy during the global COVID-19 pandemic?
Project Description
Bring a one-stop, bite-sized live feed of current covid news and measures through simple visualization and animated graphic. To make it easily digestible for our fellow Singaporeans to comprehend. No fake news. Just real news.
Criteria #1: Value
There are too many news outlets sharing similar news which resulted in information overload. This idea is a one stop live feed that not only collates all these news but makes important information much simpler and easily digestible.
Criteria #2: Inspiration
With influx of information through different news outlets and social media, there is a high tendency that fake news may get widespread in SG. With this platform, people will be able to digest real news in the shortest possible time.
Criteria #3: Impact
Get people to understand the latest measure so that they can act on it fast, which reduces lag time of take-up and spread of fake news. This will allow us to combat the virus in a timely manner.
Criteria #4: Timeliness
We aim to be on top of current news for the next 3-6months, news jacking and produce visual feed within an hour turnaround in response to the latest news.
Criteria #5: Systems Thinking
Work closely with Gov.sg as the main source of truth and quickly turn latest news update into digestible visual information.
